Before you begin, you might be asking Why are there SO MANY STEPS?
The reason is becuase I'm not sure how good you are with computers and internet software, so I put in EVERY step just in case.
| Section1 - How do I register with The Lowcountry Anglers Forum? |
A) Click on our Forum link at the top of this page.
B) At the top left of the page, you will see this: Welcome, Guest . Please login or register .
C) Click on register
D) Choose Username (this is the Name which will be shown when you post or reply to a topic)
E) Email (this is required as an email will be sent to you, REQUIRING you to click on a link within the email, in order to activate your account). Type your full email address in that box. Don't worry your email address will not be shared to any services and you will not be mass mailed anything.
F) Choose Password : (Type something you will remember, as I nor anyone else can retrieve your password if you forget it)
G) Retype Password: (This is to make sure you entered your password correctly)
H) Click on the little box that says I Agree (a check will appear in the box, and the Register button will be selectable)
I) Click the Register button
J) Go into your Email that you put down on step "E", and open it up. You will see a note about registering with the Forum, look for a link that says you must click it to ACTIVATE your account.
K) Click the link for ACTIVATING YOUR ACCOUNT.
L) Your Forum account is now setup and you can begin posting or replying to our Forum
M) If you do not know how to use Forum software, then please read the next guide.

| Section 2 - How do I post a New Topic to The Lowcountry Anglers Forum? |
A) Log into your account
B) The General Category board should be open already, but if it isn't click on it and it will display the following:
General Discussion
Fishing Reports
Events
C) Click on General Discussion
D) Scroll down a little bit and on the right side of the screen , you will see: Mark as Read, Notify, New Topic, New Poll
E) Click on New Topic , which will open the Start New Topic screen
F) Type in a Subject that you want your new Topic to be about
G) Don't worry about the Message Icon or the little buttons and smiley faces. All they do is add extra little things to your message which isn't required to post a new topic.
H) In the big white box(text box), you will type your memo, letter, or just say hello in there, the point is that the big white box will display your message.
I) Don't worry about the additional options either .
J) At the very bottom of the screen you will see the options to Post, Preview, or Spell Check your message.
K) Click Post and your new message will now appear in the forum.

| Section 3 - How do I Reply to a message already in the forum? |
A) Click on the General Discussion link , then click on the Subject Hello
B) On the right side of the screen, choose Reply
C) In the big white text area, type: Hello, this is Your Name
D) At the bottom of the screen, choose Post

| Section 4 - How do I register with the Pictures Gallery? |
A) At the top of our Home Page, choose Pictures
B) This will open the Image Gallery
C) Choose Register
D) Read the Terms and conditions, the click on I Agree
E) Fill out the Required Information in order to successfully Register
F) You can skip the Optional Information if you want or feel free to type in there too
G) Click on the Submit Registration button
H) Nothing will be emailed to you , and you will immediately get a message stating "Your account is now active and you can login with your username and password"
I) You can now start posting pictures, If you do not know how to post pictures, read the next guide.

| Section 5 - How do I post my pictures to the Image Gallery? |
A) Login to your account
B) The screen will show, Welcome "Your Name" , Continue
C) Click on the Continue button
D) At the very top of the screen, look for a link that shows: Upload file
E) Click on the Upload file link
F) In the File Uploads area, choose Browse
G) The browse button will open up a window into the files on your computer
H) Find the picture you want to post, click on it, then choose Open
I) You will now see the location to the picture in the File Upload screen
J) For now, just upload 1 picture , once you get more familiar with uploading you can choose more than 1 upload.
K) At the very bottom of the screen, click on the Continue button
L) You will now get a message stating, " 1 uploads were successful.
Please click 'Continue' to add the files to albums." (You are not done yet, you MUST continue to follow these steps to place your files onto our image server).
M) Click Continue
N) You will see a little version of your image and next to it, File - YourPicture.JPG
Please place the files in albums at this time. You may also enter relevant information about each file now.
O) Click on the Select Album arrow and choose a category that your images best fits into.
P) Type in a Title for your picture so people know what they are looking at.
Q) Type in a Description for your picture so people know exactly what is going on with your image (weight, length, location caught, or anything else you would like).
R) Don't worry about Keywords
S) Click the Continue button
T) You now get a final message stating, The previous file was placed successfully, You have successfully placed all files.
U) Click Continue
V) Congratulations!!! Your new image is now on our image server , and can be viewed by everyone.

| Section 6 - Gallery Problems |
I'm having problems uploading my picture to the proper album - I don't see the option to upload to the section I see on the main page.
A) The reason you cannot access certain albums when uploading images , is because the Admin has just added those albums to the site, and these albums aren't accessible for a few days . So please try uploading your images again in a few days to a week later. Sorry for this inconvienence, it isn't the Admin's fault, it is the gallery software adding the changes that take so long.

| Section 7 - How do I view images in full screen? |
A) Click on the Pictures link above
B) Click on any picture you want, that will open the Album for that category , showing either 1 or more pictures
C) Click on the picture you want to see full screen
D) That will open up the picture to a medium size
E) Click the picture and it will open a new window in full screen , you may have to use the scroll bars to move around in the picture if it is too big to fit into the window.
(Please note: If the picture is already at its full size at Step "D", the image won't be any larger)

| Section 8 - Viewing the Slideshow |
A) Click the Pictures link above to go to our Image Gallery
B) Click on the little picture in the Slideshow section
C) Click on the first picture
D) On that screen you will see "File 1/61", to the left of that you will see 3 little icons.
E) Click on the 3rd one, the Slideshow icon, it looks like a little square with a diagnal line on top of it.
F) The Slideshow will start as soon as you click the Slideshow icon.

| Section 9 - Accessing the Members Only Area |
A) Click on the Members link
B) You MUST be a Lowcountry Anglers Member to access this area
C) Use your Username and Password given to you from The Webmaster, if you give this information away to anyone who is NOT a Lowcountry Anglers Member, your access will be revoked!
