The Lowcountry Anglers is a non-profit fishing club founded in 1995, with these purposes:

1. To provide a broad-based membership organization to promote interest in sportfishing

2. To promote and encourage sportfishing and the economic benefits to local governments and the business community

3. To formulate and implement policies and programs to encourage sportfishing

4. To provide recreation and entertainment to members

5. To educate the public about sportfishing

6. To perform all necessary or desirable actions, incident to the above stated purposes
